Will changing the machine temperature alone fix incomplete transfer or weak adhesion?
Check the actual substrate surface, foil, die and artwork first. Record incomplete transfer, adhesion or registration issues together with temperature, pressure and running speed on the same material and configuration. Adjust one condition at a time within a technical plan and safe operating range; temperature alone does not establish the cause.
01
Start with the substrate and foil
Paper and flexible packaging webs can differ in surface condition and layer structure. Share the actual material, foil and target artwork. A successful trial on one substrate does not establish suitability for another.

02
Evaluate temperature, pressure and speed together
Temperature, pressure and speed interact in a foil-stamping result. Record each setting and the observed transfer or adhesion before an adjustment, then compare the outcome on the same material and configuration. A technician should define the safe trial range. The record needs both improvements and remaining defects; a single successful setting does not establish suitability for all materials.

03
Check tooling, registration and repeatability
Die setup, registration and continuous web handling can also affect repeatability. TJM1000 addresses foil or window work on flexible packaging webs; TJQ1200 addresses large-format foil work on gift-wrap and other paper webs. Assess each with the intended material and sample.
