How do you choose a hot foil machine for gift-wrap paper?
Compare TJQ1200 standard, A and B versions using paper, foil artwork, registration and roll or sheet output. Width alone cannot determine the configuration.
Is paper width enough to choose a hot foil machine?
Define the gift-wrap paper input, foil area, artwork and registration to printed marks, then specify rewound-roll or cut-sheet output. Compare the TJQ1200 standard, A and B versions against those requirements and a paper sample. Their web handling and structure differ, so paper width alone cannot determine the version or configuration.
01
Define the input and desired output
State whether you feed a continuous gift-wrap web and whether the decorated material should be rewound, sheeted or sent to another finishing stage. Web handling and take-up requirements affect configuration.

02
Describe the finish, not just the width
Provide the printed artwork, foil area, colours and registration requirement. For embossing, unusual surfaces or tight alignment, use paper and artwork samples for a technical trial rather than judging the result from a marketing image.

03
Compare TJQ1200 versions after the process is clear
TJQ1200 standard, A and B versions differ in web handling and structure. Confirm the material, working width, unwind/rewind and foil path before choosing a version. Finished gift-wrap roll packing is a later FJ/FJS1050 process.
